What do I do about these fish?

I'm in high school, and i spend my lunches with a few of my friends in this great classroom. The assistant has her won desk, and would keep getting, and killing, bettas. She finally stopped, and that made me feel a lot better. But after our spring break, I came in to see a 20 gallon tank, severely overcrowded with very ill fish. There are 5 comet (feeder) goldfish, all with fin rot and one that has gone blind from cataracts. One has part of his dorsal fin eaten off, and two others are lacking theirs entirely. There's another that's missing a pectoral fin. And one poor one is missing all but his tail and pectorals. There are TWO plecos, a corydora, ADFs, and three tetras. There's a filter, but it's certainly not strong enough. The water is disgusting, and she never does changes. She simply buys new (ill-fitting) filters. According to her, they're all two and a half years old. If so, each is severely stunted. And she just bought a bunch of new ones yesterday! I don't know what to do. I'm fine with pitching in and trying to nurse them back to health, but i know that she would need at least 200 gallons to safely keep them all. I have my own overcrowded tank at home, but it's not as bad and I change the water weekly. I wouldn't know where to start. Please don't respond with answers about calling the humane society or getting rid of them. I'm only sixteen. I just need to know what steps I can take to help the tank become healthier.

Do you think the dealer touched up the paint?

Just bought a new 2011 Kia. I've had it a week and today, while washing, noticed 4-5 tiny "chips" on the lower side paneling.. Below driver's side car door.. I first thought it was tar, and scratched with my fingernail.. that caused a bit more paint to come off.. It appears the dealer may have touched up these small areas before selling. Any thoughts?

Question about my blood pressure?

Ook so for awhile my blood pressure has been up, in 23 about 6 feet tall and around 200lbs ive been taking my bp on and off and lately its been between 140-155ish and 100-115ish idk what it is right now buut i have a head ache n kind of a dull pain in my left side by my under my armpit going towards my pectoral..but i also have chrons disease n have stomach issues and pain, everytime ive gotten an EKG its been normal but am i at risk is it too high right now or what? Any ideas? Advice?

REALLY NEED ADVICE ON THIS!!!!! (ARMPIT PROBLEM)?

I'm a 17 year old male, who is constantly sitting or lying down at the computer. I hardly do any physical activity. But for the past 2 weeks, I've noticed a very mild (sometimes sharp) pain in my armpit area (around the pectoral muscle area) that comes and goes. I mostly experience this pain at night, during the day I hardly feel anything. There is no swelling or other symptoms, just this pain. What could it be? (If it helps, I've had this persistent cough, which I got after a flu, and it gets worse when exposed or inhaling cigarette smoke, if any of this may be related). I went to the doctor, and he checked both my armpits, and said I may be allergic to the deoderants I'm using, and gave me a cream to use, which has not worked or relieved the pain in any way. I'm also not obese or overweight if that helps.

About 25 years ago I quit smoking by using a 4 step filter set. I can't remember the name but the color of the filters were brown. Does this guitar deal looks good to you?

The FG700S is a very good quality beginner guitar with a solid spruce top and plays really well. $199 is pretty much the standard price for them. You can walk into Guitar Center and buy one for that, but you'd have to add on sales tax. If you buy one online and having to play shipping be sure you consider that. Personally, I'd buy one at a music store so you can play it first and see how it sounds. Each guitar is a bit different so it's good to play the one you're buying and have someone there who can address any setup issues or questions you have about the guitar.

I like to do a combination of different things. Chest/Bench press, flys, and pushups all work the pectoral muscles. Try a combo of machines and free weights. Also, to maximally stress the muscles, Start with a drop set, first with enough weight to only be able to do 10 or so reps, then immediately dropping 20 or so lbs and do 10 reps, then drop 20 lbs and do as many reps as possible, all with no rest between. Rest for a couple minutes, then do 2 more sets of 6-8 reps with as much weight as you can.

Why isn't my delay pedal acting properly?

So i just bought a tc electronic nova delay pedal. I tried it out at the store and it sounds great! But now I'm at home trying to figure out why it isn't working properly. I'm playing out of a tube amp. Egnater Renegade. I tried all plug-in examples. Even the effects loop, which is what I want to use cause I use distortion & overdrive from my amp. And I plug it up correctly. But when I turn everything on, there's a lot of feedback, just the ehhhhh noise ya know? And there's no sound coming from my guitar, well there is, but I literally have to turn my amp all the way up just to here a little sound, and even then it's not loud AND my delay pedal is giving delay to the feedback and not my guitar. idk whats wrong? I'm using instrument cables. I don't have the short patch cables yet but I heard you can use regular patch cables. Someone help please? Let me know if i must provide more info.

Help!! my zebra danio is hurt and might be close to dead !!?

when i came home.. i looked at my tank and i saw something in my plastic bush decor (spiky oh i so regret putting that thing in there) and i found it out it was one of my danios.. i thought it was laying its eggs (she is pregnant) but she was gasping really fast and i was just waiting there for five minuets waiting for her to lay some eggs or swim out but nothing happened so i immediately took a fish net and gently pushed her out.. when i pushed her out she just fell to the gravel.. and since she was my prize danio i always watch her so i knew that she never lays on the gravel.. but then i examined her and saw that she had cut her Caudal fin and a part of her side.. her pectoral fins were in top condition after a few min she started to swim but uneasily around the 20 gal.. and i felt bad for her and i knew that if i wanted to feed her i needed some place where she wouldn't be fought over food (i have a small net breeder inside the tank that is holding 13 small molly fry.. and i knew they wouldn't fight over food with her) i let put her in and she swam her vary slow.. and she was turning side to side but she became stable.. so i got this water conditioner that also helps injured fins.. so i added that into the water.. but i don's know how i can feed her?. what else can i do to keep her from dying..

Has this ever happened to you when dealing with a doctor?

My boss at work noticed my finger was twitching and decided to get concerned. This job provides health benefits so the boss insisted there was no excuse, I had to go to the doctor to get this twitching finger thing looked at (Granted, the boss did have a relative who had Parkinson's). I get to the doctor and explain to him that twitching is a common symptom of carpal tunnel syndrome which I have all the symptoms of and that although I do also have a twitching in my pectoral muscle - which is much more rarely associated with carpal tunnel, the twitching was isolated to those two locations which are connected by the medial/radial nerve plexus. The doctor gives me the sharp look and the whole "you think you're a doctor" speech and insists on all kinds of ridiculous tests. After about $4000 worth of bills to the insurance company and me missing 2 days of work for the doctors ridiculous tests, he comes back and tells me that they didn't find anything but it does appear that I have a fairly serious case of Carpal Tunnel syndrome and it appears that the twitching in my finger and pectoral muscle are related to compression of points along the median/radial plexus.

The pectoral is one muscle, there isn't really a "decline" "flat" and "incline" setting to it. It may be your genes, but make sure you are doing the exercises well, especially the pushups. Add good pullups to your routine because they recruit the pectoralis minor which might be small in your case. Also, don't work out the same muscles every day, or else they won't have time to grow and recover. Every other day is fine. Good luck and keep it up! It's only been 2.5 months, in a few more you will be Rambo!

How can i lift my saggy breasts?

i am pretty young, 18 years old. so it seems like age has nothing to do with it. and i obviously haven't had children. i am not uncomfortable with my body. but my breasts do actually make me feel a bit self conscious. when i have sex with my boyfriend i tend to leave my bra on unless we are in a position where i am laying down on my back and my breasts look full. the problem is that i am a 36 D and my nipples look as if they are pointing down because of the sag. i do have a lot of stretch marks. i like the size of my breast, just not the shape. if i cup my breasts and lift them up i like the way they look. the problem is that they don't actually look like that. i wish i could be comfortable naked. i was just wondering if anybody has some first hand experience with using exercise as a way to perk up their breasts. If i lost a bit of weight and exercised the pectoral muscles, could it help? i have read that it does not help but maybe it could. i don't conciser surgery at all and i will never do it. if i have to live with saggy breasts i will do that over any type of surgery. i only need a tiny bit of lift to solve this problem. any advice? especially from people who have gone through this with success?

Nervous About Applying For College. Please Help.?

So I desperately want to go to the east coast to study. I have a 4.6 GPA, I am in the top 10% out of 800 rising seniors at my school, I am actively involved in my community, I play a sport and an instrument, my family has a low income so I am being helped with financial aid, HOWEVER my ACT and SAT scores are not good. That is the only concern for me: that I would not be accepted to colleges because of my low test scores. I honestly am a horrible test taker in that i always get nervous no matter how prepared I am, and my nervousness gets the better of me. What do you think my chances are? I got a 22 on my ACT and 1590 on SAT and 540 on Math II Sub. and 560 on Bio Sub. I know I have a chance to retake ACT or SAT, but how do you think I stack up? Appreciate it.

However, when you buy cheap instruments, they don't always sound the best and are produced rapidly for money. I would consider adding the new black discard card, Distress. Phyrexian Obliterator might be a good addition too. I would remove Lilliana Vess entirely, she is just too slow in this deck and is rotating out soon as M12 is not reprinting her. Cello fingertip injury, please advise?

I have been playing cello for 11 or so years. Last fall I was practicing 2-3 hours a day when all of a sudden I got a sharp pain in my left first fingertip, similar to a pinprick. There was no mark but after waiting a few days the problem hadn't gotten any better. A month later I tried again, and then every month or so since then. It has now been around 8 months and my finger still bothers me a bit when I try to play, although not nearly as much as it first did. Does anyone have any experience with something like this? If so, is it going to recover completely? And how long should I wait? I saw a hand doctor over the winter but he did not know much about instrument injuries and told me I had tweaked a nerve and just needed to wait a few months and it would be fine. Obviously that has not been the case. Any advice would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

How can I get get a demo together?

I am an aspiring songwriter- I create lyrics and melody, but I don't play an instrument and I suck at making beats to go along with my songs. I can sing, not a Beyonce, more along the lines of Norah Jones. Anyway, I feel like my talent is being wasted because I don't play an instrument and therefore can't put a demo together. I was going to a so called producer, but he completely twisted my music into something he wanted rather than what I was trying to create. I feel so frustrated. I heard that in todays music world you have to submit a demo that is basically "professional" in order to even stand a chance. So my question is how can someone like me get a demo if I don't play an instrument and don't have music to accompany my songs? REALLY NEED ADVICE ON THIS!!!!! (ARMPIT PROBLEM)?

I'm a 17 year old male, who is constantly sitting or lying down at the computer. I hardly do any physical activity. But for the past 2 weeks, I've noticed a very mild (sometimes sharp) pain in my armpit area (around the pectoral muscle area) that comes and goes. I mostly experience this pain at night, during the day I hardly feel anything. There is no swelling or other symptoms, just this pain. What could it be? (If it helps, I've had this persistent cough, which I got after a flu, and it gets worse when exposed or inhaling cigarette smoke, if any of this may be related). I went to the doctor, and he checked both my armpits, and said I may be allergic to the deoderants I'm using, and gave me a cream to use, which has not worked or relieved the pain in any way.

having a possible stroke? This pain near my left pectoral area makes me paranoid. I can't tell if its an inner problem or outer. Clicking sound from chest?

Alright, so I'm kinda just trying to wave this off, but my girlfriend says that I should get ahold of a doctor or go to the hospital. So basically, yesterday, Me and my girlfriend were "screwing around" and afterwords we went back to her house. And maybe an hour or a little more later my left shoulder starting hurting. I just assumed that I hurt it when we were messing around and I was just feeling it now because all the testosterone and adrenaline were wearing off. The pain kept getting worse and worse, and it became almost excrutiating. It hurt through my shoulder, back into my shoulder blade, up into my left pectoral region, and even down into my arm and up into my neck a little. I took some Ibuprofin and iced it and the pain went away. Her mom was a little suspicious that it could be heart related. I slept just fine and woke up with only a little pain. I went downstairs to watch the kids while my parents were working. It was pretty early so everything was pretty quiet. I was watching tv in the living room, laying on the couch, when over the volume of the tv, a clicking sound started coming from my chest. It was loud enough to go over the volume of the tv and it's been happening on and off today. It only happens when I'm laying down and is most audible when I am fully inhaled or fully exhaled. One of the reasons that I am almost just waving this off, is because I have had a pretty bad cough lately, and I think it could be mucus related? The coughs been going around in my family anyway. The one thing that kind of worries me though, is that both symptoms happened in succession like that. Plus a year ago, I had an echocardiogram because the doctors thought that I might have marfan syndrome. Nothing came up on the results and they said I was fine. But one of the symptoms of the disease is mitral valve prolapse, or click valve. I'm a little worried. Should I be? And is it bad enough that I should contact a hospital or doctor?

i just bought a crowntail betta it is in a densely aquascaped 1 gallon. do bettas sleep? it either is sitting straight up on the gravel with his pectoral fins only moving OR perching on the anarachis plants, which are the highest to the surface. I've built a large pair of speakers to use in my equally large back yard. They will be permanently installed on masonry pedestals. I used particle board because I came upon a large quantity for free. This stuff will soak up water like a sponge and turn into mush. I'm thinking of rolling on polyester "fiberglass" resin but if anyone knows of anything that might stand up to the elements better I'm interested. Cost and time are considerations - I've thought of coating them with the aforementioned resin or poly varnish and then covering them as one would a shed, with tar paper and siding but quite frankly that's too much work. Perhaps "boat people" will know of some other finish that stands up the the elements better than fiberglass resin.

Driveway sealing sprinkled on concrete walkway how do you remove?

I got my driveway sealed by local driveway sealers. They sprayed tar on it. It was a windy day. I noticed when they were done there was a couple sprinkles of tar on my concrete walkway nothing horrible. I wanted to remove it but the guy said if I touch it, it would smear bad. I'm 14 years old. I'm a good writer and i want to be a singer. first of all, wear sunscreen daily, even during the winter. this is because the more exposed to the suns harmfull rays, this means that those pesky sunspots will get even WORSE. also, she should try the skin care brand SK-II, they are pricey but they deliver very powerfull reasults. another good product for sun spots is Peter Thomas Roth Laser-Free Resurfacer, the before and afters on the website clearly show a dramatic improvement. an AMAZING day cream for sunspots is Jurlique Purely White Skin Brightening Day Cream, but i can asssure you it does not bleach of lighten skin, just the sunspots/acne spots and scars. Aveeno and Neutrogena are very good drugstore options, too. Some naterul remadies that, while wont compleatly get rid of the sunspots, but will help are appliing vitamin E oil, wivh is sold at most health food stores or drugstores, applying Aloe Vera juice or gell on your skin and making a mask of plain yogert and avacoda, plain yogert alone and plain yogert with tumerac, an indian spice in it. i realy hope i helped you with these reaccomendations, good luck!!!

Pectoral Work out + camping interfering with my running.?

Any routines anyone know that can firm and strengthen the pectorals? No machines. Just my body and some dumbbells. Also, I am going on a church camping trip. Usually I run a mile every morning, but seeing I will be helping to rebuild cabins in northern minnesota, that'll be kinda hard to do. Any suggestions on how to make up for not running for five days?

Why does my arm feel this way?

I came home from band camp feeling this tingling pain in my wrist and fingers. In camp we exercise and play our instruments. If I stretch it out the pain goes away for a quick second. But if I try to play my saxophone the pain comes right back sometimes shootin the pain up to my elbow. Y does it keep doin that?
